EASY STEPS

Fast guide to fast charging

Step 1

You can pay conveniently using your charge card, bank card, or by utilizing the Global Charge app for a seamless and hassle-free charging experience.

Step 2

Carefully take the matching connector, align it with your vehicle's charging port, and securely plug it in to ensure a proper and stable connection for charging.

Step 3

The charging process will automatically initiate after a few seconds, ensuring your vehicle begins receiving power promptly and efficiently.

Step 4

To stop the charging process, locate and select your active session on the charger’s screen, then press the 'Stop' button to safely terminate the connection and end the charging session.

Open the Global Charge App

Launch the app and click the large yellow 'Charge' button in the bottom menu.

Select Your Connector

Connector cables are clearly numbered. If your connector doesn’t appear in the app, manually enter the 5- or 7-digit code located near the charger screen or on top of the connector.

Plug the Connector into Your Vehicle

Once connected, you’ll see the charging progress on the charger screen, in the Global Charge app, and on your vehicle's dashboard.

Autocharge with Global Charge

Autocharge: Fast Charging Made Effortless with Global Charge

Autocharge makes fast charging truly effortless. Simply drive up to a station,
plug in your car, and drive away when you're done—no buttons to push,
no extra steps. Payment is fully automatic for a seamless charging experience.

Plug in the connector you want to use into your vehicle.

Lean back. Payment is fully automagic! It will take approximately 30 seconds for charging to start.
Note: You can only activate Autocharge in the Global
Charge app.

Tap your charge card over the charge card reader


On some chargers, you will have to press the "Start" button first. You should hear a “beep” to confirm payment. If not, swipe again.

Select the connector you want to use

Make sure the type and number on the connector (e.g. “2”) matches the type and number on the charger screen.

Plug the connector into your vehicle

It will take up to 30 seconds for your car to start charging.

1. Hold your contactless debit/credit card

Hold your contactless debit/credit card or mobile wallet against the payment terminal to make a €/£/CHF 40 reservation. After your charge session, we will change the reservation into a deduction of the due amount.
2. Select the connector you want to use

Ending your session

  1. End Your Session
    To stop charging, press the “Stop” button on the charger screen or use the button located below the screen.
  2. Remove the Connector
    Safely unplug the connector from your vehicle and return it to its holder on the charger.

Note: If you paid using a charge card, you may need to tap your charge card on the card reader once more to successfully end your session.
